Sic Mundus is a prog-rock group created by Andrzej Sesiuk and Artur Placzynski, who together with the support of talented session musicians, prepared material for the release of their first album. The music is inspired by the greatest pioneers of the genre: Pink Floyd, Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater - but this is of course the result of many years of fascination with various genres and brilliance in finding new ways.
The cover design was based on the works of Jarosław Jaśnikowski - a famous Polish painter whose works are bought by people from all over the world. His images seemed to perfectly match the character of Sic Mundus' music. Jarosław believes that his paintings and the work of Sic Mundus provide a unique combination of arts. The topics of time and transience are important both for Jarosław and the musicians. The steampunk world created by Jaśnikowski seemed to us a perfect background for the music of Sic Mundus.
